1st convocation
GREAT DAY FOR SOMAVILLE GRADUATE.
Today Wednesday 10th October was our 1st convocation with more than 560 students graduated from different including faculties including computer science & IT, Health Sciences, and humanities and social sciences.
More than 2700 guests including students, parents, local and international institutions, members of parliament, government officials, and members of the international community, foreign diplomats and the media attended the event
Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Hon. Mahad Abdalle Awad, Sudanese Ambassador to Somalia Hon. Amb: Mohamed Yusuf Ibrahim Abdelmanan, Hon.Sahra Omar Malin, Dr. Abdirahman Moalin Abdullahi (Badiyo), Hon. Hassan Sharif Osman, Hon. Abdirahman Mohamed Ali (Shirar), Hon. Hussien Ali Ahmed Secretary of Somali Nation Reconciliation Commission Hon. Said Ali Abdi Mohyadin, Economic Adviser to the President, Hon Omar Ahmed Adan, Deputy chief of the custodial corps, Gen. Abdikarin Ali Afrah Attended the event
The Chancellor of the university, Dr. Abdi Nur Shiek Ahmed, Vice Chancellor Prof. Abdulkadir Basheer Mohamed, Chief Administrator Dr. Abdusamad Shiek Yusuf, Board of Directors, Executives, and Faculties, Academic department, Parents, Students and other guest attended the event.
